DCProximity helps you explore a selected catalog of U.S. data centers, follow public sources, save places, and prepare useful questions for your community. The app is free and requires no account.

Common questions

Why is a facility missing?
The catalog is a selected guide, not a complete census. A blank area does not mean there are no data centers. Send us the location and a public source if you know of a facility we should review.
Do I have to share my location?
No. Location access is optional. If you allow it, the app uses your location on your device to center the map and calculate nearby distances. You can change access at any time in iOS Settings.
Where are my saves, preferences, and notes stored?
They stay on your device. Private notes are never published. Open a facility page to edit or delete its note, or use Saved to remove a bookmark.
How should I read the figures and sources?
Reported figures include a source, period, and geographic scope. Estimated figures are illustrative. “Not available” means the catalog does not have a usable figure. Linked reporting may describe a campus or region rather than one building.
Are tips required?
No. Every feature is free. Optional tips are one-time Apple In-App Purchases, unlock no content, and do not create a subscription.
How do I report an error or suggest a source?
Email the facility name, location, correction, and a public link. We review submissions before changing the catalog.
